A new Crafter at homebodies!

We have just welcomed another talented gal.... Lisa from Stansbury Park.

She is the mastermind (or masterhands, we should say) behind Madi Moo's, hip baby necessities like bibs, burp cloths and blankets. Oh, and she also creates clothes pin magnets.

We've attached some photos so you can get a sneak peak (of course we have lots more at the store). What we like best about Lisa's creations are the fabric selections, which have a vintage yet modern appeal. Among our favorites are the cowboy/cowgirl and the soft cordurouy accompanied with coordinating plaid.

Halloween on SALE!

We've marked down all of our store-owned Halloween items! There's still time to decorate and at a great price. For example, we've reducedour Halloween plates from $12 to $7; our spooky votives are just $5.95, our ghost salt and pepper shakers are $3.95, our decorative bricks and plaques are $5 each and our glittered haunted houses and cats are $7.95 and our danglers (we only have 2 left!!!) are just $6.95. happy bargain haunting!!!

Whimsical Wedding Cake

Some friends of our recently tied the knot... it was a beautiful outdoor ceremony.

I wanted to share this photo of their wedding cake... very unique! I love the combination of purple and orange and all the details--the flowers outlined in gold, the white polka-dots outlined with gold beads and the hydrangea topper. I also like the white "canvas" at the top... it prevents the cake's design from becoming too gaudy.

We have marked down our diffusers to $20!!! These are high-quality diffusers.... you will get at least 9 months of fragrance out of them. The manufacturer, KMK, does not add any alcohol to their oils. KMK is also a Utah company!

We have vanilla pound cake, pumpkin, wassail, crandberry citrus and chai latte scents -- perfect for this time of year. Come smell our samples and choose one for yourself or someone else. They make a great gift!

Las Vegas Fall Market

OK... soooo where to start? The Las Vegas Market is huge... it's where every gift, furniture, rug, bedding, and anything-else-you-can-think-of maker displays their goods... lots of stuff to see! Homebodies ordered some really new exciting things for the months ahead... we can't wait until it arrives and when it does, we'll post additional photos and details. Here's just a sneak peak: This is an adorable perpetual calendar with magnets for each month and day.... It has an aged antique finish and comes in two styles... look for it at homebodies in 2010!!!
