This tip comes from Martha Stewart Living magazine... here's an easy way to calculate how much paint you'll need to paint a room....you need one gallon for 450 square feet... to determine your wall area, multiply the height of each wall by its width (don't subtract for doors and windows unless they take up more than half the wall); add the figures for the walls and add 10% for future touch-ups.
